Ahoy matey!

A month or two ago, I decided to make a pirate ship for Milo. I found a pattern on the Family Fun website and went to work. It took me a bit to make it. Milo decided that our pirate ship was not complete until we had hats. I also made hats. We had a pirate map as well.

We hadn’t played pirates for a while, until recently when Scott was home and took a picture of us.

Milo is a great little boy. He is growing up so quickly. This is a picture of him not long ago.

Easter Egg Hunts

I know we are very slow in getting this posted. I figure it is better late than never.

Milo was fortunate enough to participate in several Easter Egg Hunts. The first one was with my family at my brother’s house. There were quite a few kids there. We attempted to have Holly search for eggs, but all she wanted to do was eat the grass, leaves and sticks. As a consequence, she didn’t get many eggs. She just didn’t seem to care.

Milo on the other hand did well. At this hunt, there was a Golden Egg for each child. Here’s a picture of Milo with a Golden Egg.

Here’s another picture of Milo looking for and finding more eggs.

Finding an egg

For Milo, the best thing he received was a bottle of bubbles. He wanted to blow them almost as soon as he got them. These next two pictures are of him finding the bubbles and then blowing them.

Milo’s next Easter Egg Hunt was at Grandma Little’s house. We had a whole bunch of eggs to find. Milo and his cousin Madelyn were looking for the eggs. Milo really enjoyed that. Here’s a picture of Milo looking for eggs.

Milo also had an Easter Egg Hunt for the Mom’s Group we attend. I don’t have any pictures, but he had a great time looking for eggs and playing at the park. We had a great Easter and were happy to be able to see our families.
